We have a passion to improve the way consumers interact with businesses, products and services.
CO-FOUNDER & CEO
"Innovation is more than new ideas. Innovation is making those ideas a reality by creating new to world things to better everyone's experience."
James Lewis is a passionate, 30-year-old mission-driven CEO and entrepreneur with an innate curiosity on how to continuously improve the way consumers interact with products and services in a way that can positively impact the wellbeing of humans and businesses into the future.
To enable that mission, James co-founded and leads 11|TEN Innovation Partners as CEO where he and his team partner with Fortune 500 companies and high-potential startups to minimize innovation risk, accelerate growth, and ultimately future-proof businesses in the fields of health care, wellness, food, and agriculture.
James is no stranger to risk – whether it’s in innovation, business or personal health. At 15 years of age, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and over the years, has mitigated the severity through a profound change in lifestyle and nutrition. This humbling experience led him to be obsessed with continuous improvement to life and business. In business, no challenge is ever too great as James applies a demand-driven innovation methodology – a strategy that identifies growth opportunities by understanding the problems and solutions first to accelerate businesses to a future state.
Today, James and his team at 11|TEN Innovation Partners oversee the direction and operation of the Emory Healthcare Innovation Hub (EHIH). For EHIH, they incubate, pilot and commercialize new solutions between health care and technology partners to improve the evolving health and wellness needs of patients and providers. Partners include Cerner, Konica Minolta Healthcare, Novo Nordisk, Philips, Sharecare and Stryker.
James is a proven expert in growth strategy formulation, transaction execution, and business development thru his previous work at Cox Enterprises, Booz Allen Hamilton and IBM. Throughout his career, James has developed several innovation accelerator programs and has executed over $1B in investments and acquisitions.
